Don't waste your Friday night - If you like mainstream pop, cheap drinks and the odd brawl then you'll probably like Walkabout Islington.

I had the misfortune of visiting late Friday night and regretted it - not because it was that awful, but because I'm sure there are so many better places to spend my time.

It cost a mere £3 to get in after midnight, and drinks were cheaper than the nearby Pitcher & Piano.

If you're going out with a big group of friends, and don't mind the sticky dancefloor, this could pass for enjoyable.

But the venue held absolutely no appeal for me and I was totally indifferent about leaving early. 21-03-09

Low Budget Pub - Ok, this place is like a bad college pub, let's be honest! But the only good thing about it is that it's mega dirt cheap! I bought 5 drinks for people and it came to like 6 pounds! I don't know where else in London that happens. Seems like lots of young folk go there (early 20s). Not my scene at all but if you want to drink and have no money, this is your place... 08-08-07
