We are a one stop shop specialising in a wide range of daily living aids and mobility equipment from walking stick ferrules to electric rise-and-recline chairs. We are located in Stockbridge, close to the centre of Edinburgh and easily accessible on foot, by bus or car.

You might need them someday....... - I have been meaning to write this review for about six months!

I tore a ligament in my foot (six months ago) and the hospital wouldn't give me a crutch.

Lucky I found the Whistling Tortoise on t'internet and after searching the site I couldnt find what I wanted, so I called them and the next day a crutch arrived!

Not your every day purchase, but it is good to know they are there.

Nice website, nice people!
