The so-called Postmaster, i.e. the Manager, at Philpot Street Sub Post Office has absolutely no idea about how to provide a good level of customer service. This person is stroppy and abusive to customers and generally talks down to them. Unfortunately, this man's attitude tends to rub off on the rest of his staff. Please avoid this place if you are expecting to be treated politely, professionally and with respect by the staff here. If you do have to visit to this establishment, I'd certainly avoid being served by Manager, as he'll deliberately try to ruin your day. This has been an ongoing issue for many years, and really should have been sorted out by the Post Office by now, as this so called 'person' is certainly tarnishing the Post Office's reputation. Avoid like the plague!

Sanjay Joshi - 3 weeks ago i had submitted a lost and stolen form to try and track my parcel sent to Swansea. When i had entered the post office the lady over the counter had offered to post it for me as a free service offered to customers.
3 weeks later I had enquired with RMs headoffice to find out why i had not received a response. I was informed that occording to their system, no form had been loged under my name or address. Head Office had advised me to speak to the post office to see why the form had not been received.
Today i went and spoke to the manager Sanjay Joshi. AS i tried to expalin to him, he kep interrupting me and telling me that he didnty have the time to check when the form had left his post office. I expalined that i was trying to track the parcel and i needed advice on how to progress further.
At this point he shoulted, "look my customers are waiting and you are wasting my time, get the F'*k out.
I was really upset so i waited for him to calm down and did not leave the shop, but he called the police on me and claimed that i was being a nuisance.
I felt really upset with this wohle issue and could not believe the length he went to to intimidate me and make me a laughing stock in front of his customers and workers. As a young petit woman, who was alone, i felt this treatment was unacceptable.
Even his staff were scared to listen to my queries, because their manager Joshi was shouting at them and telling then to not take sides.
VEry unprofessional. All i needed to know is how to go about tracking my parcel, when they had lost my original receipt and proof of sending this parcel along with my lost and stolen form.
