The Africa Centre provides a platform for African art and culture as well as news and views about political, economic and social events in Africa. There is a restaurant, hall, art gallery, a book shop and an arts and craft shop as well as a club, all of which have an African theme. The Africa Centre contains an elegant 18th century hall which makes an ideal location for holding book launches, committee meetings, conferences, dances, parties and receptions and can hold up to 150 people.
