The Three Tuns is the principal pub of the London School of Economics Students Union. It serves a range of beers and spirits, as well as a select list of food. It hosts a variety of nights, including pub quizzes and sports matches, as well as a weekly nightclub event, Crush, on Fridays.

A Scene of Student Debauchery - Make no mistake, this is not a classy lounge or even your standard local pub. The Three Tuns is a student bar, supported by the Students Union of the London School of Economics. What you can expect are cheap beers (starting at about 1 pound 70) and a bevy of undergraduate punters looking to get wasted after having spent the day in lectures and seminars. Although there is a billiards table, it is so hopelessly warped by time and spilled pints of Carlsberg that students don't even bother to complain about it anymore. Wednesday nights are the purview of the Athletics Union, and Tuesday nights are pub quizzes. Friday, on the other hand, is Crush, a student club night that encompasses several other student venues within the LSE for one big event, and is almost certainly worth skipping if you aren't 18-22.
The point of this place is to drink with classmates and friends, and although I don't think they are officially barred, non-students aren't likely to have much fun in this place - unless their goals consist of ogling the pretty undergrad coeds who staff the bar itself. Nevertheless, the convivial atmosphere (among students) and the low prices for all do provide the raison d'etre for the Three Tuns, which is to supply a cheap line of booze for students and a communal area for all LSE students to come together over a pint, whatever their differences.
