I'm hungry and I'm irritable - Last year I had a real crisis. My office moved from Soho to the wonderful world of Victoria and I was very concerned that Fresh and Wild would go bankrupt without my daily support. Between my morning juice run, mid-day coffee, afternoon salad bar, and soya “cheesecake” run at 4PM (don’t knock it until you've tried it) I really kept them afloat.

Pret, EAT, Nando's (which I secretly love) and don’t even get me started on Garfunkel’s or Spaghetti House, just don’t make we want to spend with such abundance. I was desperate and seriously considering sprouting my own hemp seeds when I discovered Daylesford Organic. Introduced to be by a fellow foodie, Daylesford has managed to chip away at any post-F&W frugality and I can now say I’m happily spending with abundance on organic grub. The place itself is immaculate, totally appropriate for even a casual client lunch, and the food is delicious and carefully prepared. The menu changes daily dependent on the season and I’ve had equally great results with both eating in and taking away. It also serves as a high end grocery store- with baked goods, cheese, even an extensive wine cellar.

If only they would apply my monthly expenditure to some sort of rent-to-own program. I want to move in.
