Spit 'n' Sawdust - I've been here on many a Friday lunch. Bob (the landlord) is picky about his customers but it part of the character of this establishment. However, the food is fantastic, filling and cheap while the beer is varied and well kept. The back rooms are intimate and host real log fires in the winter. If it's sophisticatin you're after this would not be for you - but the locals love it!
