Opus - Well recommended,they were very well priced and very efficient,done two flights of staires and my hallway and can't as much as I try,find any faults.would have no trouble recommending.

Cowboy Carpet fitters - Watch out, this is a greedy man who uses cheap Polish labour.

The guy he sent to fit my sitting room carpet was hopeless. He left air locks under the carpet all over the place, he ruined the finishing rail that I had by over tightening the screws to the point that it now resembles a roller coaster, and didn't bother finishing the job at the doorway.

And thats just a simple rectangular room!! Wouldn't care to imagine what he might do to a stairway!!!

I left messages for the manager but he just ignored me - he never answers the phone.

By the way, I only gave it a rating of 1 as you have to select it.

My rating - ZERO

My advice - go elsewhere.
