Fab! - Chives is a great mix of traditional egg and chips cafe, a rare thing these days, but also does innovative daily specials and some gorgeous and varied homemade soups. Cream teas to Thai butternut squash soup the decor is colourful and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful...and all this at a very reasonable price. Oh and you have to try the omelettes and cheese scones, speaking to other customers we found some came from quite a few miles away for those homemade scones! Thoroughly recommended. 25-05-12
