A wonderful time - I came to London from Denmark with my school and we went out for a night of fun. We chose the Jazz Cafe and loved every minute of it. It simply had a certain original charm to it, with the unknown but lively artists and the small but comfortable surroundings. There were a lot of people and not that much space, but if you cared to dance there was room. Though I must admit I was a bit disappointed with some of the guest who didn't seem to want to move to the rythms, however groovy it might be. I would come back anytime if in London and I think everyone would consider it a nice experience.

Independent Artist Haven - I've never eaten at the Jazz Café, so couldn't possibly comment on the food. I started going there as a broke student who wanted to dance the night away in north London.
Now I go there for the great performances by lesser known independent artists, the laid back atmosphere and the up close and personal stage. It's a small venue, so get there early to bag your spot.
