Delicious South Asian feast in E17 - Had fabulous family meal last night at Priya, the unassuming south Indian and Sri Lankan restaurant in Walthamstow (5 mins walk from Walthamstow tube).

Started with crisp and tasty Masala Dosas, great value at a mere £3-50 - followed by satisfying and hearty Sri Lankan fayre of spicy Kottu (shredded roti, egg and mutton, veg, chicken or seafood).

Along with some good vegetable side dishes and sweet Mango Lassis all round, came to about £12 / head with the food shared.

Service was friendly and quick. Can fully recommend to anyone in the area - and maybe even be worth a special trip for Sri Lankan and South Indian fans. 13-03-09
