Gem of a pub - Really love this place. My experience of the staff is not the same as other reviewers. They have always been helpful, polite and really know about their beers. I am going to an american beer tasting tonight. The food is good and reasonably priced mussels with chips and bread one of my faves and the fish stew is really good too. I would highly rate this lovely pub.

A very nice London pub, but... - ...a slightly hostile staff. At least the bouncer is. Nobody should mess with that woman. Also, if it gets just a little bit busy, it tends to take ages before you get served.

But still, I have to say that the pub is one of the best I've been to in London. The interior feels very vintage and random, which add to the cosy feel in there. The food is great and you have loads of different beer's to chose from. Sometimes they do live music, and on Saturday's when Broadway Market is on, it's great to sit outside to look at the crowd.

All-in-all, I recommend it.

Very RUDE bar staff - The bar staff were very rude - we went in for a leaving do and they wertre very aggresive and kept asking us to be quite. there was a nother group and it was a biot noisy but no one else in the pub was complaining and we speant a lot of money on food and drink. My friend got stuck in the toilet and the biucer said she must have a diability!! The food and drink is nice but expensive and we will not be returning. we used to go to this pub a lot and you'd think they would be pleased of the custom but they are always having one problem or anbother ..... we are looking for a new local!!
