Fresh and Tasty Curry in Dalston - Since moving to Dalston I've gotten takeaway several times from Ganges, especially on Friday nights which seems more than any other night of the week to be made for ordering in.
The food is great and thankfully lacks that neon oilly pool that you find on top of most takeaway boxes. The spinach in the sag paneer actually looks like it was once a leafy vegetable i.e. it's green instead of brown/black/gray as i've had it elsewhere. The dahl is excellent. The breads and starters are great, fluffy and copious.
I am a vegetarian so can't vouch for the meat menu but i've only ever been pleased with their efforts at Ganges and hope you'll try it if you live in Dalston.
