Great, affordable - I've been going to this salon for about 7 years now for cut and blow dry, colour and occasionally styling and I've been happy everytime. Louise and Claire are particularly good. Lovely atmosphere too.

Friendly,Chatty and Good Cut/finish - Hair Associates Oakwood were lovely. I would defo go again. I had a bad experience with another hair dressers who hacked my hair away when asked for an inch off a few years ago!- it has taken along time to gain confidence in hair dressers again- Louise was friendly, kind and chatty , she cut my hair just as i asked her to, not too much taken off which i wanted- as takes ages to grow.
They were reasonably priced and remembered me when i returned. Friendly atmosphere.10/10

ruined hair - went to this hairdresser for cut and colour cut is bad after going back hoping something could be done i now have a bad haircut with yellow greyish brownish mess and this cost 93 pounds never again stylist just did her own thing

Top Cut!! - Fab salon with super-friendly staff, Would definitely recommend Sarah for cut and colour. She takes time to find out what you actually want before starting, which some other salons don't seem to do. Not a rip off either!

Fantastic - I have been going to Hair Associates for 2 years at least and seeing Sarah and the other members of the team is like visiting friends. Recently my daughter had her prom hair created by Louise. She was both patient and determined to ensure that my 16 year old had all her dreams met with regard to the image she wished to create for the most important night of her life so far. Thanks Hair Associates

Bad cut, bad customer service - I went to the Hair Associates branch in Oakwood.
The hairdresser at Hair Associates provided a cut so far removed from what had actually been agreed it was untrue (ie 1 inch turned into 4 inches all over - I came out with about a third of the amount of hair I went in with).
I had been very clear with the hairdresser (as I have been growing my hair for 18 months!), and she had understood by confirming “I will take no more than an inch off”.
To make matters worse, when I politely complained at the Hair Associates salon(the first time I have EVER had to complain to a hairdresser) the whole salon staff crowded around to defend the stylist - instead of admitting fault and simply apologising! Worse, some staff clearly lied about overhearing what had been discussed in agreeing the cut and had total disregard for how upset I was.
It wasn’t just an issue of liking the style or not, it was just so obviously a SIGNIFICANT amount shorter. I was so caught off guard with Hair ASsociates so blatantly challenging that this was the case! Two colleagues had originally agreed with my complaint, but quickly disappeared when the manager stepped in with what appeared to be a well rehearsed line.
Making a mistake is one thing, but then the behaviour of the Hair Associates staff afterwards was totally inexcuseable. They did eventually reluctantly give me a refund, but that does not make up for the way I was spoken to or to having to regrow my hair for another 18 months.
Don’t risk going to Hair Associates Oakwood if I were you!
