Brilliant Beatles Experience - Myself and my partner stayed here a few weeks ago as we were moving house and looking at a few properties in the area. The hotel looks great inside and out as they had recently put in a large conservatory overlooking their landscaped garden. We enjoyed a few drinks in the bar before going up to our room. Once we got up to our room it was clean, spacious and very well themed. We are both massive fans of the Beatles and are glad to have stayed in the former Epstein Family Home. We will most certainly stay again and tell our friends when they come to stay in Liverpool.

P.S. We saw the other review after we had left the hotel and think it must be rubbish as the hotel was clean, tidy and the beds were all freshly made.

First time visitor to Liverpol - We had no idea when we booked this place that it was Brian Epstein's grandparents house until we arrived. It hadnt really dawned on us when we booked up. The house is filled with memorobilia of the Beatles and really great to read all about them on the walls in the sitting room. Its in a great location (very close to the Liverpool football grounds of which I'm a fan and the landlord and landlady made us feel very welcome and were very helpful advising us about where to eat in Liverpool.

However, one of the lasting memories that I have of the hotel and it was going swimmingly until that point was that unfortunately the next day, I got bitten by something on my body and legs. Almost certain there were bed bugs having gone to seek medical advice and sadly I wouldnt go there again because of it. After 4 weeks, I still have the marks from the terrible rash. They certainly need to make sure they get double sheets that fit the bed and that they are washed from the last occupants!!

I wouldn't have hesitated to tell anyone to go there to stay but not unless they improve their hygiene standards. Please, please prove me wrong!!
