Carre Copenhagen - I recently went to Carre in Notting Hill during their birthday event. It was such a lovely atmosphere at the shop. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I was there to purchase an anniversary gift from their 18 carat collection. The receiver of the gift was over the moon but unfortunately the I had the size wrong so I went back to exchange it for another size and they had it ordered in from Denmark. I went to collect it a couple of weeks later and it was perfect. I will definitely make a visit to Carre again. Though I hope to see the new collections as the current collection they have in store has been there for a while now (but then again I do pop in very often).

unreliable service - I bought a ring and it was time sensitive. I gave a six week period in which Carre would check whether they have the size in stock. If not they would order a new one. Supposedly the timing would have been no problem. I never heard from them again.
Only after chasing them multiple times did I get the answer that they are about to order the ring. This was after 6 weeks!

Never order anything time-sensitive like a birthday present or engagement ring from them. Once the sale is made they couldn't care less... 15-08-08
