Situated on the south mezzanine of the Royal Exchange, Restaurant Sauterelle is a thoroughly Gallic affair. Opened to complement the Grand Cafe & Bar, this fine dining restaurant offers contemporary French dishes, expertly prepared, with flavors that are light and fresh. Our menu, created by Head Chef Robin Gill, relies on using the highest quality and seasonal produce. Robin's experience draws on over ten years spent in Michelin rated restaurants around Europe and he has used this wealth of knowledge to bring contemporary French to Restaurant Sauterelle. Good Square Mile dining - Take one of the tables that overlooks the main hall of the old Royal Exchange, and you can look out over truly lovely architecture bustling with people buying some very shiny shiny as you dine-y.

Beautifully located, Sauterelle offers attentive, classic service, a simple, uncluttered feel and great food courtesy of Robin Gill's kitchen - very French in style (I particularly recommend the duck). Service is discreet and attentive, the wine list is rather jolly, and if you indulge too much you can teeter out of the Royal Exchange and straight into the waiting arms of Mother Tube, to bear you home.

A highly recommended fine dining experience.
