Off the Crowded Track - At a safe distance from the crowds on Camden High Street lies this sizable, comfy pub. Set on two floors, there is a lot of space to be used in this place, with a clutch of tables as well as stools. A long bar features a wide selection of beers on tap and there is a decent menu with good options for sharing with a group.
The Earl has a few nice touches as well, for instance the wood burning stove in the middle of the space which is great for warming up next to on a cold afternoon. There's also a billiards table in the back and several picnic tables outside for seating in suitable weather.
All in all, the Earl of Camden is a nice neighbourhood pub that manages to avoid a lot of the standard annoyances (or 'features') of the crowded, tourist-y pubs on Camden High.
