Gilgamesh is Ian Pengelley's latest venture, a cavernous restaurant decorated in grand style and serving Pam-Asian cuisine. There is a fully retractable roof offering outside dining when there is fine weather. The cuisine has received mixed reviews, but if you are judging it on the whole experience, you can only be amazed.

Gilgamesh - a really cool usually young crowd...Thursdays and Saturdays are really the only days worth going! and on a sat make sure u book in advance or u wont get in. Staff are moderately friendly, the massages there are RUBBISH and the food is ever so average too verging on poor. however, a good buzzy place to socialise and meet new people or go with ur friends

Disappointing - The decor was very interesting, the escalator entrance and view of the Camden lock market very unique, however the crown a bit pretentious to our liking and the food not special but priced way too high!
All 4 of our table agreed we will never return there- ever! The service was appalling: the staff were really rude and un-attentive, when they made a mistake argued and made us feel uncomfortable for pointing it out.
Service could be much better and prices lower or food better...to summarize a lot to do about nothing, and don’t judge a cover by its look!

Gils got it all! - Ok, this isn't a place you go to all the time....but when you do expect great service, great food, fantastic ambience, great music. I had such a great time there and so did my friends. They put a lot of time and effort into the decor of the place and its well worth it. Splurge on yourself and check it out. Its a place to see and the bar is right behind the restaurant so you can just walk over and start your night out after food. Highly recommend it.

Someone's been busy carving - Gilgamesh is outstandingly beautiful. When you book, ask for a table on the raised platform on one of the circular booths.

The place is airy but dark - if that makes sense.

Food is always delectable, the curries are spectacular and perfectly sized portions, wine is always served in beautiful, large glasses and at the perfect temperature.

The staff are also excellent and attentive, very helpful and polite. It's a great venue for intimate dinners and larger parties alike. We had a group of 10 and were given free dessert for no particular reason.

Good value for money and quite often they do Top-Table offers which make it even better value. Easy to while away an evening here - highly recommended.
