Cheap. Erm... - Can't disagree with the review below: harsh but fair. The Coronet is indeed the ultimate Wetherspoons, which means it has the advantage of being very cheap for drink and food, but that's about it.
It's a cavernous building with a strangely hushed quality within, tables half-full of mostly senior citizens quietly drinking away what remains of their lives. (Except on Arsenal match days, when there are bouncers an' all.)
Having said that, they've improved the outdoor space this summer, and it is the place to go if you are cash-pressed and want to buy a round and see some change from a tenner (or even a fiver).
Service is reasonable, and the range of drinks isn't bad.
But depressing as a very depressing thing.

Mass suicide pact - Welcome to the last chance saloon. It's like a hospital with a booths instead of beds. Uber Wetherspoons. Shame because the building is very interesting - it's a disused cinema with most of the orginal features still in tact, still that can't stop it from being what it is... a long drawn out mass suicide pact.
