Not for coffee ignorants! - I used to suffer from olfactory anesthesia but everything changed when I stopped in Algerian Coffee Stores in Soho. Coffee aroma and shot of espresso freshly made in store kept me active for the next 24 hours.
The store has specific atmosphere and its own rules. It was opened in 1887 and since that time has not been accepting credit cards:) (still hard to believe in that...)There are different scales, sacks of coffee, strange barrels with tea and unpopular sweets from my granddad's century.
I'm sure that coffee freaks can find there everything they expect as there are at least 100 different types of coffee. There are coffee beans from Jamaica, San Domingo, Zimbabwe or Peru. And those who prefer tea won't be dissappointed either (white teas, formosa teas, Japan teas and many many others). Choice is much more diversified than in Tesco and all products are worth their price. The only problem is that you need to know what you want. I didn't - so I bought nothing:) I will next time!
