Momo restaurant with its Middle Eastern atmosphere is a must for escapists. There is a Moroccan culinary style which is popular with the locals and a party feel to the place - the staff will even belly dance to the music if it is someone's birthday. The bar is for members only. Booking is advised.

Its a NoNo for me - As my friends know, I do love a good cocktail, but deep down i'm more of a traditional boozer girl :) I've been to the bar at Momo's (also called Kemia) twice in the last month for parties and am not particulary impressed. Cocktails START at £8.50 and are v tasty, but at that price i'm expecting gold dust in the bottom of the glass! Staff are french and therefore pretty rude. Like the idea of the Moroccan theme, but some corners of the bar are just way too dark and the toilets are pretty skanky for a supposedly spretentious bar...not really my cop of tea.... 22-11-07
