Ealing Comedy - An excellent, well kept, Fullers pub with some character still in place. Fans of British comedy will be familar with Ealing Studios and this pub served as a watering hole for the likes of Tony Hancock, Sid James and other Ealing stars. There is an amazing collection of orginal photographs on the walls linking the studios with the pub, which in its heyday was even had the pet name Studio 5. Now, although many of the old regulars have died out, the most recent landlords have kept to tradition: No music, friendly terms with the remaining old boys, great food (especially the burgers) and a local feeling.The pub attracts a more bohemian crowd, mid twenties onwards, with a slant towards the elder gentleman, real ale brigade.Beautiful beer garden in the summer months makes for a lovely afternoon. 10-12-07
