My birthday(part 1) and bull's head - Nobody knows when exactly I was born (but I’m not an orphan) – hence, I need to celebrate my birthday for a few days. I was forced to start yesterday. My friends invited me to the Bull’s Head in Chiswick – nice dining venue in north bank of the Thames. To be honest with you, I have never been to a cosier English pub and I’ve never tasted better food (with all respect to the Narrow? and my friend Mik vel Hassan). It’s simply a great place to celebrate something- particularly with the sponsor who pays for a meal?
The pub is quite old as it comes from 17th century. It has very low ceilings and small windows which made the atmosphere very comfy. The best thing is that Bull’s Head has a great view on the river so if you don’t feel like speaking to anybody, you can just enjoy looking at ducks, canoes and water. The bar serves a whole range of ales but I’d be more interested in food. Girls went for steaks with pepper sauce and I took sea bass fillets with pine nut dressing and vegetables. Then we had dessert – chocolate fudge cake plus wine of course. Everything was more than delicious! The prices are not extremely expensive, the bottle of wine costs about 20pounds and a meal more less 15 quits.
Both my mind and stomach were positively surprised and will encourage me to go back then soon.
