Greasy spoon - You can almost inhale the grease in this corner cafe - the smell of fat hangs in the air both inside the cafe and, unfortunately, in the street outside. However, it seems to suit the local student and backpacker population, so it does a brisk trade in kebabs and the like. If you want something a bit more upmarket, cross the street, park yourself on a wicker chair and try the offerings at Balfour's, a cute little green and red tiled cafe-restaurant that was beautifully restored last year.
