The Olive Tree is a bar and restaurant tucked away in Brackenbury Village. The menu includes dishes from around the world plus there is a daily changing specials board. Enjoy a drink at the bar beforehand or dine straight away in one of the booths that can comfortably sit 8 people. Downstairs there are a couple of areas you can hire for private parties.

Great local spot - I've been going to the Olive Tree for the past few years since moving to the area. At one point I seemed to eat there more than at home!

The staff are friendly and food is good. The decor is different and the layout often changes which keeps it fresh.

Well worth a vist, even if its just for a coffee.

Atmosphere, good food & cocktails - This is a neighbourhood pub surrounded by some stiff competition. The first thing to strike you will be the interior. It is eclectic but tastefully done. It is more gastro pub than local boozer and beyond the usual beer selection they carry some good but I wouldn't say great wines. The cocktails are usually a hit and if it is not on the menu you can ask for it.

The atmosphere is open and can be quite loud. There are leather sofas and chairs to realx on and the restaurant forms part of the main area. The food is international, consistent and usually pretty tastey. It changes reasonably frequently so I have not found it tedious. The clientele is comprised of local residents and businesses generally in the 30 to 50s age group.

I have always found the service attentive. The staff seem to have been there for years which is strange for a pub but reassuring. Staff are friendly but not over bearing.

Wine, starters and mains In a dinner for two would set you back about £30 to £40 per person.
