AKA is situated near the British Museum and is attached to The End Club. They serve a variety of modern British dishes. 90 covers are available on the main floor and on the mezzanine level 40 covers are available with a private dining area for up to 12 people. They have a film night on Mondays as well as Sunday brunch screenings and have a 13' x 10' screen using state of the art digital projection equipment and serve popcorn, hot dogs and ice cream.

A bit more glam - Well, a decent bar and the chance to catch some good music as well, since this is really the annex to a club and a DJ bar in its own right I can't comment on the food etc. as this is not really what I would go there for but overall there is a good balance of ingredients to a good evening. Crowd is a bit more glam and chic than scruff, a bit more studenty, a bit more see and be seen but overall quite bearable. As always, the DJ/music makes the night so whether to go or not depends on the line up. On weekends, access to the END in the basement is definitely an option. However, anybody looking for a more freaky hangout has to venture more East. 03-08-07
