total rip off!!! - Pretty bad hairdressers! Overall quite an appalling experience and appalling service! I dont normally write reviews but i just wanted to warn others like i wish i had been!

Well firstly i will comment on just how ignorant and unprofessional the staff are in there! When i went to get my hair washed, i wasnt sure where to sit as the staff werent taking a bit of notice, until somebody suddenly turned and shouted from behind the basins 'your on the end!' so i procceeded to sit and have my hair washed in almost cold water as the girl was to busy talking to her colleague beside her to even realise!

Then when she had finished, normally you would expect them to actually speak or at least acknowledge you but they just left me sitting there after she had slapped a towel around my head, i then turned around only to see she was too engrossed in her obviously more important conversation! So again i proceeded back to my chair and finally got started with the cut.

After describing what i wanted to a hairdresser i felt wasnt really that interested, i began mentally preparing myself for distaster. She was far too busy chatting and looking around at what else was going on to even concentrate on my hair! I asked for a side sweeping fringe and she couldnt even do that properly!

I might sound like a moaner but i am not usually i just could not believe the the level of service from quite a well established salon, from which a had read a few decent reviews!

To top it off i was told on the phone prior to my appointment that it would be £33 in total, only to find out when i eventually went to pay (after an hour, just for a cut, might i add) that it was £42, thats just fir a cut!! Funny that considering i read somebody else's review and they said the same thing about being charged more than they were initially quoted! So i got totally ripped off! I wouldnt have minded paying that if it was a spectacular cut but it was distinctly average!!! Never again! 31-12-09
