Shame! - I had fairly high expectations for The Red Fort last Saturday night, and I can say without a doubt that I was seriously let down. Here are my gripes:

- The hottest (temperature-wise) thing on the menu were the hand towels
- The service was overzealous
- All the dishes tasted more or less the same (same spice base, different filling)
- The bill was astronomically high
- They don't sell Indian breads separately, so all you can get is a lukewarm basket of a 'selection'

Essentially, if you are afraid of going to a real Indian restaurant and work in The City...I still wouldn't recommend this place. Go to Moti Mahal instead. At least you get decent food for emptying your wallet.

Fantastic lunch - A great modern Indian restaurant which shows in all the elements. The food, the service and the environment. A lot of different taste sensations made this a great lunch. I went for a business lunch there but it also very suitable for a casual lunch.

A touch of spice... - This indian restaurant hosts a varied menu which is known to change daily. I must admit, I am always weary of Indian restaurants in central London, but this one clearly stands out. The dangerously buttery paratha coupled with the marinated prawns, and monkfish bathed in spices and cooked in the tandoor is simply divine. No complaints here..I must book again.
