PizzaExpress has expanded enormously over the years and now has a staggering number of outlets. The simple menu and kitchen concept has retained its freshly made ideal and you can still watch your pizza being prepared for you. This branch also provides a takeaway facility.

Just don't bother-St. Martin's Lane - AVOID ST MARTIN'S LANE PIZZA EXPRESS AT ALL COSTS!!!

I could go on for pages and pages to to detail how awful the service was; the manager and duty manager were rude and argued with me, the waiting staff were unprofessional and lazy...we recieved no apologies throughout the evening..it was one dreadful mistake after another.

Abriged version of events:

We arrived at 8pm. We recieved the correct menus at about 8.20. We ordered at about 8.45. We did not recieve intros, but starters first. This was amended. We recieved mains at 10.00pm. We got dessert ok, but then they had the audacity to give us a bill with the service charge already included, then argued about taking the service charge off!

Just don't go to that Pizza Express, there are much better restauants a short walk away. 13-12-09
