Bridge & Tunnel - How do I hate thee? Let me count the ways.

Misleading - its not very chilled, in fact its really rather hectic but not in a fun way, just in a sloppy 'I'm 19 and drank too much' way.

Unimaginative - situated just off Brick Lane there are so many other places within walking distance that have character, charm and a decent clientele. Anyone frequenting this place doesn't seem to have the imagination or gumption or wherewithal to explore round the corner and those are not the sort of poeple I want to drink with.

Bridge & Tunnel - as you can guess I have a problem with this place and I think the main thing is the people that go here are, at the risk of sounding like a snob (actualy I don't care I really am a snob) - well they're just unsophisticated - no one is well dressed, there is a high probability you will see boys / men having fights (play or otherwise I don't like it), a large collection of girls either passed out, being sick or just stumbling about trying to keep their balance and navigate their way through spilt beer and broken glass in their predictably cheap and nasty high heels.

Epilogue - I don't mean to offend anybody that goes here, plenty of people seem to like it however it just reminds me of all the worst student bars I ever went to and vowed never to step foot in again. Ugh

It's Chill & More! - I've only recently explored the Brick Lane area on the weekends and let me tell you, the vibe is so on at the Big Chill. The decor, the laid back feeling, the crowd. Drinks were pretty cheap (£3 for a pint) and there's an outdoor area too. I will be going back there for sure and think you all should go too!
