Covent Garden Grill - I have been to the Covent Garden Grill on a few previous occasions & found the food & service to be very good.
Recently I received a voucher offering 3 courses for £15 & also 2 for 1 on their burger & chips which seemed very good value.
The party I was with ordered the Burger & chips & also the tuna.
One of the burger was requested to be "rare" but when it arrived it was only luke warm. it had to be sent back to the kitchen twice to get it warm.
At the end when the bill arrived we were advised that the items we had ordered were not included in the £15 deal even though we had given them the voucher before ordering the food.
My advice to anyone choosing to eat at the Covent garden Grill is:
1) Check very carefully at the beginning what is included in any deals (the staff did not explain it very well.
2) If you order anything "rare" advise that you would still like it to be reasonably hot when it arrives.
Overall I am disappointed that the standards at this restaurant appear to have fallen & I will not be returning until they improve.
