appalling - I fortunately have no experience of having my hair butchered by Sherlocks, just going in to make an enquiry/advice before making an appointment was enough to put me off. They were unhelpful and the staffs attitude bordered on passive aggressive. Made me feel quite uncomfortable and that they weren't interested in my custom. Also following that experience a few days later i was in a nightclub talking to some girls about their hair and where they'd had it done, (as girls do on nights out!!) as i was still looking for a decent reputable salon and my hair was needing some attention, i was approached in a rather surly manner by a woman who agreed my hair was 'a right f-ing state....looks really bad' (i thought i'd made the best of it as it goes lol!!!) not wanting to antagonise her i tried not to look offended or angry, at which point she told me that i should come to her salon which she advised funnily enough as Sherlocks in Newcastle. True story I kid you not. Needless to say I didn't go back on her advice, and recommend on attitude alone DO NOT GO THERE!!!!

Sherlocks in Newcastle Upon Tyne - I highly recommend Sherlocks in Newcastle upon Tyne, they are by far the best chain hairdressers in the North East. So far I have been to the one in Durham, Sunderland & Newcastle and have never been disapointed what so ever. Forget Toni & Guy and the rest of them and just go to Sherlocks as they are great for the money and they have a magnificent courteous attitude to their customers and they are extremely friendly and help you out so much when you do not know what style you would like. I went in there with a blank mind and came out full of confidence which was produced and styled by a stylist of the name of Helen who I highly recommend!
great going guys you are artists of hair!!!
