Soulless - It is hard to put a finger on what is wrong about the Dollar Grill. Its mediocrity is utterly crushing from the service to the uninspiring food.

It has a decent location and its central premise of cocktails and burgers seems reasonable but it seems to be run by people who have no love of food or making eating out fun.

Given the variety of places you could choose from in Exmouth market this is unacceptable. There is more panache and passion in the sausage stalls outside that inside these faux-glitzy walls. 01-12-08

Girls night out - I went for a friend's birthday party which she themed as 'sex and city night.' This place was perfect for chic-fueled fun. The drinks are great and the food is deliciouso too. Downstairs is a kind of loungy-type bar area and upstairs is the open, funky restaurant. Its along a very hip brick street near farringdon. I thought it was worth the trip! 24-08-07
