The Malt Shove is your country pub in the heart of Dartford. We pride ourselves on our traditional approach. There are no fruit machines, juke box or sky sports.

There is, however, a warm welcome, good home cooked food, (check out our review on bestsundayroast.co.uk) and a great selection of Young´s and guest Ales. We´re in the good beer guide for 2010, 2011, 2012 and for 2013 too.

Whether is´s a nice pint, a Sunday roast or a party, we will take good care of you here at the Malt Shovel, the Kent country pub in Dartford

Great both inside and out - I have been to this pub for so many years I forget how long... The staff are friendly and the ales are brilliant.
