The Africa Centre provides a platform for African art and culture as well as news and views about political, economic and social events in Africa. There is a restaurant, hall, art gallery, a book shop and an arts and craft shop as well as a club, all of which have an African theme. As the name suggests, the Africa Book Centre sells a variety of African and Caribbean literature ranging form history related topics to cookery and children's books.
