Standing on the corner of North Bridge and the High Street section of the Royal Mile, Tron Kirk is famously known as the focal point of Hogmany celebrations held on New Year's Eve. Work is currently being carried out as the cellar has recently been excavated allowing historians to discover more about ancient Edinburgh. It is now open as a visitors center where you can view the excavations and study before and after photos of The Kirk. It is a Grade A listed building and was built between 1636 -1647.
