Deacon Brodie was famous for two very different things. By day he was an excellent member of the community, as well as Town Councillor. He was also head of the Wrights & Mason Cooperation. By night, he was the leader of a robbers gang. With these two very different personas it inspired Robert Stevenson to write Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Deans Brodies Tavern serves beers, wines and spirits as well as a selection of snacks. They also have live gigs as additional entertainment.
