Lip-smacking - This restaurant has never yet failed to impress.
As a foursome who meet every eight weeks, we've stopped trying other places now, as we always come away delighted with our meal. We know we're not taking any chances on being disappointed, as we often were before. They offer an extensive set menu, with lots of choice, and the house wine's good.
The prices are very reasonable, and the set menu price is terrific. Whatsmore, the clinch for us is that they obviously have a chef who stands out from the crowd - where so many restaurants have a chef who's just 'fine'.
The atmosphere's cosy and the staff friendly.
