A good service overall. I was moved into my new place quickly and efficiently as per my instructions. Everything I required from this removal company was followed without being questioned and when the movers arrived on the moving day and were not sure how to proceed with some of my items, they would ask me for guidance and additional pointers. I was really happy with their friendly attitude and good service so I would use again!

Woah , this was the fastest moving day in my life, yeah I have to admit they showed up with 45 minutes delay. But this was nothing compared to the job they did. Ask for Mihay if his team is available, they unloaded two trucks stuff for the time of a one.

The guys from Handy Moves are killers…haha..Mihay and his team started moving boxes the moment they entered the flat I live in, they stopped when everything was ready. It took them 4 hours to drive the truck from point A to point B, and to add two more hours for the uploading and unloading the final sum was six hours, charged at a very good price.

I’m just another fan of Handy Moves! It’s not enough to say they saved my day, because they did so much more. I called on a late Saturday night after the company I originally booked with said they wouldn’t manage to perform our removal due to I don’t know what reasons, you imagine what my shock was when I heard this. HM weren’t able to fit us in the schedule for the next day on such a short notice, but did their best for Monday morning. I spoke with Kevin on the phone, he was so understanding and professional, he sent me the next morning 2 young hard working boys, I think they were freshly hired and were doing their best to satisfy me and the employer. As a result we got moved in no time, so the next time I need a removal team I’ll know who to call.

At first sight Removal Company Handy Moves looked quite good and professional; I read almost all of the reviews written about them on yell and trustpilot. I especially emphasized on the negative ones to have a realistic opinion about it, I’m a big person and also run one small flower shop and perfectly understand it’s not possible to make all your customers happy, some of them are difficult to deal with. After all, we are human beings and stuff like this happens.
When I send them a quote, it took them three days to give me an answer, which is a lot in my opinion, and for this reason I won’t give them five stars, I’l take the last one for me. All the rest of the service went smoothly and even come 10 minutes earlier, which happens very rarely with them according to the reviews.
Oh, and not to forget, they charged me the exact price that was mentioned in the quote, no additional charges!

Originally when I planned to move, my first thought was: this is easy, I can deal with it on my own but later on I realized the amount of work and effort I should put in it is something I’m not equipped and ready to do it.
Making a research caused even more headaches when I read all the bad reviews about almost every company. I read everything about Handy Moves, it’s like half good-half bad, my inner sense told me to give them a shot, they send me a wonderful quote and I snapped them up straight away. In my case, they did not damage any belongings of mine during the transit and all finished well.

My fiancée and I finally bought a house together and with baby steps we started moving all the stuff everyone had at his previous place to the new property – we haven’t lived together before, because our religion doesn’t allow us to.
So. Imagine now, all my belonging from place A plus all the belongings of his from place B should be transferred to place C in a period of one month. At that same time we were working our fulltime jobs and only during the weekends we were taking some big suitcases with our small Toyota Yaris, time was pressing us and only two weeks were left.
This removal was not going to happen this way and a professional help was urgently needed. The total cost actually was not as bad as I thought although it ended up 40 pounds more than the original quote. Only because a small coffee table and a bedside table belonged to my fiancée, not the flat owner as I thought, this was totally my mistake.

SUPERB MAN AND VAN GUYS
I was very worried that hiring Handy Moves would be too expensive. I needed their help for my relocation abroad; I could not do it alone. I was expecting to pay through the nose for their services but this didn’t happen.
The free quote they offered ensured I got the help I needed and that I was comfortable with the price. I was then confident to hire them and they delivered, giving me a smoother relocation overseas. Five stars

They helped with problems I was having and overcame all of the moving challenges. I couldn't have been able to handle my international removal without them.

I find packing to be the worst part of any move. No matter how much I try I always end up with broken items here and there, and it always takes me weeks to get it all done. Handy Moves gave me the answer I needed with their packing service. My home was all packed up easily and securely without me having to bother. Everything was so safe that nothing got broken! I was two days into my new home when I realised that my packing wasn't going anywhere. I'd only got through a few boxes. I realised that if I continued at this pace, I'll only have things unpacked by next year. Not wanting my house to be full of boxes and actually wanting to be able to find things, I had Handy Moves take care of it. Hiring them was the best decision I ever made, as it resulted in my unpacking being done in record time. The work was done fast and I didn't have to do a thing.

I fancied a sofa set from an online site and I booked a furniture collection service from Handy Moves since the website didn’t have a delivery service. The movers did a wonderful job with the arrangement, they went there, took the set and brought it back in one afternoon, I did not have to wait for it at all. I have used the man with a van service of Handy Moves a few times now. The fact that I have booked with them more than once goes to show how much I trust them with any work related to moving. I rate their work from ok to superb, which is more than acceptable, since I just wish to have my items delivered safely. So far I haven’t had major problems with them and I am sure that the situation won’t change in the future. Since I value their moving services so highly, I have recommended them to some of my friends and neighbours. Naturally, they report they are pleased by the service as well.

Last week I was desperate for last minute help with my office removals and Handy Moves seemed to fit that role. They assured me over the phone that they offered a same-day service and that their staff are very helpful and would help me from start to end with my move. And they certainly did. They didn’t let me lift a finger. The team did all the heavy lifting from my fifth floor office and they loaded everything into the van without asking for my help. I couldn’t believe how hard working and dedicated they were. Impressive!

Handy Moves did a pretty good job with my relocation last week! My roommate moved in with his girlfriend in our old apartment and I got myself a new flat. I had a bunch of stuff that I needed delivered from the old place, so I turned these guys. They managed to complete the job for two hours and saved my weekend. However, they came 15 min earlier than the original appointment and they needed to wait for me to prepare my boxes. Other than that, the process went smoothly and I got all my belongings in perfect condition. Thank you guys!

Last week, my husband and I, together with our pet cat Toby moved to a beautiful new house. We couldn’t have managed it without the help of Handy Moves.This was I first relocation with them so I had my doubts. The guys came on time and took into account all of our requirements. We received our belongings in great conditions and we didn’t pay a fortune for the job. Of course, the whole thing couldn’t go without any problem. We kept Toby in our bedroom and informed the movers not to enter the room. When they were done, I went to see how Toby was doing, but when I got there, the cat was missing. I was worried sick and thought that the movers left the door opened. It turned out that my husband took him to our neighbours and has forgotten to tell me. Anyways, the guys were very friendly, considerate and professional during the entire process.

This is my first time using removal services and I was a bit anxious about the whole relocation thing. I’m a chronic worrier and I always feel that something will go wrong. Luckily that didn’t happen thanks to Handy Moves. They did such an amazing job! The guys hauled and delivered all my stuff without a single damage. They even brought my boxes all the way up to the 6th floor, when the elevator was out of order. Honestly, they are so helpful and friendly and they really made me feel very comfortable and calm. I’m so grateful to these guys!

I entrusted Handy Moves with the office removals of my branch last week and I do have to say that I’m impressed with the level of service I received. They came with enough vans to load up the entire building and a few teams of movers came and started a very diligent job of moving boxes to the vans. They moved all the furniture and hardware with extreme care and nothing got damaged in the process. I was pleasantly surprised with the attention of detail as well – one of the movers took out the water cooler and then returned to ask if there are empty water bottles that also need taking along. If there was a complain to be made, it would be that they were pretty silent, but I guess they were just focused on doing good work. Can’t say I complain – what with all the noise the employees were making, it was refreshing to be in a group of quiet and diligent workers. Then came the move to the new office and the vans arrived at the new address soon after we did. Overall, good work!

An easy move and friendly team. - Handy Moves did a super job of moving my elderly mum into her new flat. I was given a low quote, but at the end of the job I had to pay 50 GBP more than we were quoted. The driver had the original invoice and knew what the cost should be. It was soon sorted as it seemed that we had asked a few extra boxes and pieces of furniture to be moved as well. They were not included in the quote as I had not mentioned them in the first place. Anyway the driver and his mate soon shifted my mum’s possessions to her new flat with no damage or loss. I am ok that I had to pay the extra charge.

They knew what they were doing :) - I’d like to leave an opinion about Handy Moves, who I feel have been incredibly helpful to me over the last few weeks. I’ve dedicated a lot of time to finding out exactly which company I should hire, including asking around and checking internet feedback. I landed on them as they really seemed like the best choice in the area and it seems as though that was a good decision.
I’d like to start with the one slight negative from my experience before moving on to the good stuff. There was a difference between the price I was quoted over the phone and the one I paid on the day. It was 30 pounds more. Anyway, they moved a few chairs and a table additionally so I guess that was the reason why the price was higher.
Now, the positives. Great customer service. Fantastic commitment to professionalism throughout the day. A really friendly crew who clearly knew what they were doing. A simple and stress free move. That was it, really, as they managed to make my life a lot easier. There was no worrying about what would happen and I was amazed that they took the time to make me feel this way. A fine display from the whole company and I’m very impressed. Would be more than happy to pass along their name to anyone who I knew who was moving some time in the future.

A very good team! :) - After a good removals experience, I wanted to thank Handy Moves for helping me move to another house. I’d been dreading the process, as I’ve never attempted anything on this scale before, so it was good to have the reassurance of an expert nearby to calm things down. Wasn’t a big job, I’m sure when compared to their others, but it was a bit of a tricky one as their client – me – didn’t really know what he was doing. However, a good experience with them was made better thanks to their whole overall approach.
That’s why I wanted to leave a good review, as I came into contact with them via searching through the online comments about their services and realising that they were the ones who seemed to come out top in every category. If I was going to hire a removals team, they seemed like the best shot. After I talked with them on the phone and got a quote, this seemed to confirm my suspicions and they were very nice and friendly. The team arrived pretty early on the day and were ready to start working right away. With everything loaded up on the van, they were quicker than me to drive to the new property, and everything was over much quicker than I expected. We hit a bit of a snag when the quote was out of line with the final price, but the extra few bits and pieces they did to make up for the price meant it was more than worth it in the end. Still got a great deal and I can’t imagine having done it nearly as well without them. Would hire again, a very good team.

special prices for students :)) - It came this time of my life when I had to deal with a removal on my own. Till now, everytime this happened, my parents organized it but now, as a 21 year old student, it was my turn to prove I can handle that burden. All i needed to myve was my bed, a tiny wardrobe for my shoes and a study desk and of course, all the clothes jackets and accessories a young girl can have. There was a brochure of Handy Moves services at out information desk at the university. They offer special prices for students which works best for me. As my mum said: all is well when it ends well, this removal went just perfect! Thank you, handy moves! A lot....

Move went really well - I have just used Handy Moves to relocate me from a bedsit to my new apartment and they did a good job. There weren’t a lot of belongings but enough to fill a van. Anyway, my move was treated really well, from a guy calling to look at what was being relocated to the next town, to booking a date. I was disappointed I couldn’t get the time slot I wanted first and had to rearrange my plans. But, to be honest the move wasn’t costing the earth and there were some heavy items to shift. I can’t grumble the driver and loader were friendly and did a fast and efficient job, being careful when they loaded the stuff on the van. It was strapped down and covered up with blankets to protect whilst in transit. The move went really well, there were no scratches or dents to the furniture and it all arrived at my new apartment as planned.Thanks so much!

All I saw was a lot of stuff that needed to be packed up. Anyway I used these guys and they were wonderful. I like this company - Liked Handy Moves from the off. They were very helpful and nothing seemed too much troucble when I contacted them. As it should be. My move consisted of moving from a two bedroomed flat in Camberwell to a one bedroomed flat in Teddington. Everything was taken out of my flat was due care I would say and loaded into the large truck easily. The one problem, as always, was parking and traffic. I had to arrahnge a parking permit and I did so. I thought the movers would have planned a bit better but I guess there's nothing you can do about traffic especially. Nonetheless, we arrived at our new place behind schedule but everything was done in a professional manner. I like this company, they're friendly, efficient and any problems we encountered were quickly solved.

I needed so many removal guys - Great stuff from this movers. Was well pleased when they gave me a good quote and then on the day itself everything went really well. Felt a bit guilty at times watching the lads carry so much stuff but knew it was best to let them get on with it. It's been a week since we moved and as far as I can see (not everything has been unpacked yet), all is well and nothing lost. If I had to critcise I would say I don't know if I needed so many removal guys. It was good but I wonder if I could have got an even cheaper price with less guys. However I wanted this number of guys to make sure the move would go smoothly. Transportion, customer service and price were all brilliant. Well done to everyone at Handy Moves for a good move.

I was happy I used them - This is the second time I have moved although it's the first time i've used Handy Moves. Everything on the day went as well as can be expected. I had to change the time of the move the day beforehand . Instead of nine o'clock it was changed to eleven o'clock which made everything a bit more of a rush at the other end. However, everything was transported over 140 miles safe and sound and the removal men made up some time as well I think with working hard. We had a couple of partiuclarly heavy items to move and it might have been better mentioning this beforehand to the movers. The removal men seemed a bit surprised! So all in all, especially with their prices I was happy I used this company.

Great service,thank you so much! - My husband recently got laid off work due to downsizing and we were on a bit of a budget. We thought it would be nice to move to a smaller flat, however we couldn't move house ourselves. My daughter told us about Handy Moves and how they had made her house move extremely simple. I decided to try it and we were very impressed. Everyone showed up on time. One of the guys did not speak English very well. Aside that, no complaints and would definitely recommend and use again. A great service for a really low price!

Recommended! :) - My garden was starting to look like a mess with all the old furniture. I just didn't know what to do with everything when I had to move house. I wasn't interested to sell it—I just wanted it moved to my new home. My neighbour told me that Handy Moves do fast and efficient removals, so I decided to try them out. Aside one of the removal guys not knowing a lot of English which made communication a bit challenging, their service was pleasant and professional. As an extra, they even help me set up my new furniture before they left.

Well done! - We purchased a large dining table and sofa from the store, however we later found out that delivery was not included. It was very disappointing, so we needed to arrange for a team that could help us immediately. My husband's colleague has a brother who works for Handy Moves and they couldn't have been more helpful or friendly when we needed them the most. They even referred us to places that we didn't know of to buy furniture for the next time. The only downside was they were 10 min late due to the heavy traffic; however that didn't matter as it was a job well done!

I am pleased with the service - I opted for Handy Moves as I needed help with moving. I used them for furniture removals a few days ago and they were so skilled at what they do. They handled my furniture so carefully and made sure they placed it gently into the van – no rushing around and clumsiness. The two movers I hired worked together to ensure everything went in safely. I didn’t have too much furniture but I nevertheless needed help. The movers charged me 40 pounds over what I initially thought I was paying. But it happened because I asked them to move a few boxes that were not included in the quote. Generally it was my fault for not mentioning them in the first place.

Handy Moves moved everything - At the last minute, my boss told me to move to my new office in the next city. I didn’t know which company to use and as you can imagine, it was really worrying and stressful. I emailed and called a few different removal companies and found that Handy Moves offered the best deals. The kind woman on the phone asked how many movers I’d need and seeing as it was only a matter of moving a desk, a few boxes, and a computer, I said no more than two. So on the day, two movers arrived on time and go on with moving the office equipment right away. I asked them if they’d like a coffee first but they said no. How dedicated they were! You don’t see a lot of that these days. They moved everything within an hour easy and before I knew it, they were on their way to my new office. They unloaded everything and didn’t let me carry one single box. When I checked everything later on when unpacking, I couldn’t find a scratch on anything. All of my possessions were ok. I struggled to understand the movers sometimes because they didn’t speak a lot of English but we got through it and in the end, all went well.

I had to move.... - When I moved out of my parents’ house to go to student accommodation I hired Handy Moves to handle my move. When I called them for a quote they asked me a bunch of questions and seemed to want to know every single detail about what I wanted shifting.
They suggested I prepared a moving checklist of all things too! Now, I haven’t got time to write lists and also I didn’t think I could possibly have enough stuff to warrant it!
They were very nice anyway and gave me a price although they did qualify it by saying it was subject to the job being as described which of course I thought it was!
Just before I was due to move my parents gave me a gift of a new desk, bookshelves and a desktop computer and so instantly I had more stuff than I had told the movers about!
So I figured it would all be costing more than they quoted but they had told me that already and as it turned out. The price was low considering the amount of stuff I had to move.

Glad I had them to help - I was dreading my move because I had accumulated so much stuff after four years at the same place. It wasn’t even anything big, I just had so many boxes of stuff that I had to hire a whole team of movers in a big truck! Handy Moves were great, they didn’t mind that they had to do 2 trips to get me all in! There were four men and me, although I didn’t really help as I had hurt my arm in a car accident. They didn’t speak much English, but it didn’t really matter, we all still managed to get on like a house on fire. I just couldn’t believe how many things one person can have. Their online booking process was amazing and they were really easy to get hold of. The price was fair given the amount if stuff they moved. Glad I had them to help; they made me a very happy hoarder!

Well recommended - I spilled black tea all over my beige carpet several days ago and I was fuming. I thought I’d never be able to get that horrible big stain out of my beautiful carpets. When a friend recommended I hire Handy Moves for professional carpet cleaning, I wasn’t sure what to do but in the end I was that desperate I just gave them a try and thank goodness I did! They were brilliant! What a superb company! In minutes they removed the stain from my carpet and it looked immaculate again. I was so happy with the service and the price too. I would definitely hire them again. Well recommended.

I used Handy Moves for both moves - I absolutely hate moving! But seem to do it a lot! My landlord put up my rent so I had to move yet again. (The fourth time in 3 years). I don’t have loads of stuff, just boxes and small pieces of furniture. I basically had to move twice, I moved into my parents for two weeks until my new flat became available. I used Handy Moves for both moves, just one guy with a van, both times the guy they sent was really helpful and efficient. It was always so fast that I didn’t even feel stressed at all and then second time I actually quite enjoyed the experience. I was excited to get out of my parents’ home! The English they spoke wasn’t great, but they were really friendly and it was super early in the morning and I didn’t want to speak much anyway! I hope I don’t have to move again anytime soon, but if I do I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

I had already moved... - I had already moved most of my stuff in my friend’s car. All the little bits and bobs but I still had a bed frame, a coffee table and two bookshelves to move which obviously wouldn’t fit in a car. Handy Moves were really helpful over the phone and quoted me a really good price for three men. The bed frame was quite heavy so it definitely needed all three of them to lift it. They didn’t speak much English but they were really smiley and happy, they knew exactly what they were doing. I actually felt really at ease just letting them get on with it so I could sort out a few last minute touches and then meet them at the other side. They got to my new place promptly and unloaded as carefully as they had loaded. Everything looked great in the new place and I couldn’t have done it without them!

I was really happy with them - I had lived in my previous home for 15 years so you can imagine how much stuff had built up. I called Handy Moves because they quoted me the cheapest price and I was trying to move on a budget. So to be honest I wasn’t really expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. I booked two guys and planned on helping out a lot myself, but the guys were really friendly and insisted on doing all the heavy lifting themselves. They were really careful with my antique furniture and helped me wrap some sheets round the edges. Something I should have probably thought of doing myself before they arrived! They were really focused and didn’t even stop for a cup of tea. They did get a bit lost on the way to the new place so it took longer to get there than expected, but it turned out that I had written the new postcode down slightly wrong. When we arrived they unloaded everything really carefully and even lifted everything into the right rooms and roughly the right place so I didn’t have to do too much on my own when they left. I was really happy with them and grateful to the lovely guys.

My recommendations!! - I recently got admitted to a new University for a master’s programme and had to move to a new place that was closer to my new school. I had stayed at that place (my previous apartment) for almost 4 years and there was a lot of stuff that needed to go with me. I called a few friends over for packing and we had a tough time with packing the fragile and glass items. One of the friends recommended Handy Moves and I called them up and fixed a date with them for moving.

On the due date, 5 people came to my place ready with all the packing material they needed for the whole moving process. They took precisely 6 hours to pack everything neatly into packing boxes and then loaded those boxes into their moving vehicle. A couple of hours later they were unloading at the new place and helping me unpack. I was charged £30 more than the estimate they had given me and that kind of threw my budget off track (considering I am just a student). However, I had forgotten to list a few boxes while estimating the quote. Their service was unquestionably good and their professionalism was up to the mark. My recommendations!!

:)))) - When it comes down to removal companies, I’ve used many in the past. Some I’ve been relatively happy with and others I’ve been shockingly disappointed in. The best one I’ve used so far is Handy Moves and I tend to recommend them wherever I can. They certainly made the whole process of moving an easy task for me. We even had a few laughs along the way with 2 of the drivers. They are a 100% honest firm with the reputation they deserve and I wouldn’t hesitate to employ them again.

I would give them 5 out of 5 - I would like to recommend Handy Moves for their professionalism and the support they lent me during my relocation; I am delighted with the remarkable help they offered to me. Apart from providing full support on packaging, loading, transportation and unloading, they also helped me arrange all the heavy items and pieces of furniture, which would have been impossible to move without any help. Without their support, I couldn’t have imagined what this relocating business would have been like.

I am a freelance model and stay with 2 friends of mine, one of whom is an architect and the other is a post grad student. Now among the 3 of us, most of the time, it’s me who takes care of the house. Our landlord was not very comfortable with our frequent trips up and down the stairs, especially at night, so we had come to the conclusion that leaving the apartment and moving in with one of our mutual friends was the best idea. We thought it would be an easy task as we would not have to look for a new place. The only thing required was that we had to move to another place with all of our stuff. The trouble started when we had only a day left and my other two pals told me they could not be there, so it was me who had to do the whole move out.

I had no option but to agree as they were stuck at work and I had often requested them to cover for me with running errands around the house. This is where (and when) I decided to call Handy Moves and it all worked out so well. I did not even have to move a finger and the removal was done. I had to pay extra £20 for getting them to help me reassemble and reorganize the heavy stuff at the new place as this was not included in my quote. However, I would give them 5 out of 5.

It was a good experience - Living in the family mansion all my life was nothing short of an amazing experience. It was great living with my two siblings and parents with acres of space to run into and farm on. It is a huge house: 8 bedrooms, a huge living room, kitchen and a big library. After our parents died, all of us wanted to move out as the house seemed too big and empty all the time. However, something or the other kept coming up and delaying the process. A few weeks ago, all of us, finally, were ready at the same time and ready to move. We found a buyer for the property and our respective residences closer to the city. There was but one small problem: moving such a big house.

We talked to some of our friends and most of them recommended Handy Moves for the job. We placed a call and discussed the job at hand with them at length. They sent an examiner to survey the place and note down the requirements. We had to move to three different places, so, we needed three moving trucks and teams for the same. On the moving day, 9 people showed up at our place with three moving vans. The three teams immediately got to work and packed everything systematically and carefully making sure that they labelled everything so that not to get mixed up with where the boxes needed to land at.

What seemed like a tedious and comprehensive task was made easy by their efficiency and professionalism. The professionals who ended up at my place were quick with unloading and unpacking and helped me with assembling the furniture and spreading the rugs out. When I talked to my siblings, they had an equally satisfying experience; although, my sister did complain a little about the guys taking too much time unpacking her stuff. Overall, it was a good experience. Highly recommended!

I recommend them highly - Last week was supposed to be one of the worst weeks of my life if not for the movers and packers who swooped in and saved the day for me and my wife. We found a really nice house just outside the city; however, the landlord wanted us to take the house within one week. It was a moment of excitement that I said yes and when I reached home, I regretted my decision immensely. We were in no way prepared of this. So, we called Handy Moves to ask if all the moving business could be managed in the next few days. To our surprise they were confident that they could do it and even sent a guy over to our place to take a look. When the guy assured us that they had our backs, we were partially relieved.
Two days later, 6 lads showed up at our house ready to get the whole thing rolling. It is important to mention that we had a 4 bedroom house, so, there was a lot of stuff that needed packing and moving. Within 6 hours, they had everything packed up neatly and securely, ready to load it into the truck. The loading was smooth and the transportation quick. The unloading and unpacking were seamless. We were glad that we chose this particular company. The only thing they could have been better with was communication with us. On the moving day they showed up at our door 15 minutes earlier than expected and we were still having our breakfast. On the whole, we are satisfied and recommend them highly.

I would definitely recommend them! - Every one of the guys was incredibly friendly and polite. They wrapped items that needed protecting and treated every one of my possessions with care- not a single bit of damage anywhere! The only thing was that they arrived an hour later due to a flat tire. However, all that matters is that they were very professional and I am really satisfied with their job. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

They provided great service - Handy Moves definitely provided great service at a good price! I’ve searched for a long time and requested quotes but half of the companies didn’t even get back to me. Handy Moves were fast with their response and quoted reasonable price. They were really knowledgeable about how to do things efficiently and to save time. My only remark was that the communication with the team was hard- their English was bad. However I wouldn’t hesitate to use this company again!

This company was great :) - Great work! When I hired Handy Moves I was unsure how the removal would go, basically because I had used other companies before and thought they were slap dash and untidy workers. This company was great the workers were friendly, and looked more presentable and were well prepared. Initially I had a representative call to calculate the load and give me a quote. But I hadn’t got time to mess about so booked a date. On removal day they arrived on time and had all of the correct paperwork from the office that listed the entire load I was moving. The chaps were organised and hardworking, moving all of the packed boxes from the house and loading them on to the lorry. They took exceptional care moving the larger furniture like my wardrobes and dressers that had been in my family for generations. I sympathised with some of the heavy wardrobes they had to move, along the narrow hallway of my home and down stairs and onto the lorry! As I was trying to help them I dropped one of the boxes. thank goodness they had carefully packed it and nothing was broken. However, it was all then carefully lifted using special lifting gear on to the lorry and carefully all place like military precision then strapped down and covered up for protection. My contents were moved with quickly, considering there was a fair amount. I was very happy with how these guys handled it. All in all a great removal company with professional workers who did a good job and everything got delivered promptly to our new home. The work was done really well and the staff worked very hard and got all of my possessions moved safely to their new address.

One big thanks! - When I hired Handy Moves at first I was a bit skeptic because I couldn’t find so much information about them. However I decided to give them a try and definitely don’t regret it! It was a long distance move and there was no damage to any of my stuff. They didn’t come on time due to flat tire but their hard work and great job made up for the delay. Great company to deal with! - I moved and used a local company called Handy Moves and got an excellent service. I didn’t have a lot of stuff just a small load that was mainly big items such as a bed, wardrobes, dresser and table etc. I had got a price that I was chuffed with and booked a date. Moving day arrived and everything was handled with care and loaded with care on to the lorry and there weren’t any accidents or scratched furniture. The job wasn’t expected to take long. The whole event went with almost no problems except for a slight delay getting to my new address. Due to a car accident and the heavy traffic the van arrived to my new address an hour later. To be honest it wasn’t a problem as I understand these circumstances can’t be helped. The driver called and explained the predicament and kept us up to date. Everything was unloaded and to apologize for the delay the workers helped unpack a few boxes.

No time was wasted - I was on the move and had a local removal company doing the move. I only had a small load so only wanted it delivering. I had met with a staff member to talk over a price and was asked to keep an inventory of the things I was moving and ensure everything was secured safely and labeled clearly. I was pleased with the price I was given and booked a date. My moving date soon arrived and the workers got on immediately with loading the van. No time was wasted everything was soon on its way to my new apartment. I couldn’t believe how fast they worked it didn’t take long at all. I was very pleased with the entire service. Though when I had to settle the bill it came to slightly more than I expected but I was compensated for this – they moved a few boxes more that were not included in the initial quote. I had a brilliant service and nothing was damaged!

Brilliant work! - I hired Handy Moves to move us to another area and was very satisfied with the service and cost. From my first chat with the helpful customer service to booking a call out to get a precise calculation for the contents we were moving and the move itself. The price we were quoted was excellent and the only problem we had was we had our date as they couldn’t start as early as I wanted, but the company assured me that they would still have enough time to get the load to its required location! I was dubious but gave them the benefit of the doubt! Anyway, it the move went really well and my belongings all got to their new home in plenty of time.

The price they offer is great - I've heard great superlatives for Handy Moves by a colleague of mine, who used them for his removal last year. The price they offered was more than great and I couldn't refuse the opportunity to hire them. The only think I didn't like was the speed they had for work. We arrived at the new place hour and a half late, but all my staff was undamaged.

I am very happy with my choice - I own a lot of pieces of art and when I had to move, I was kind of nervous that something would get damaged throughout the removals process. I called Handy Moves because they felt like a great deal and because I had heard of them before – and honestly, I am very happy with my choice. The two movers I hired were really polite and they handled my art really well so nothing got broken and everything got to the destination in perfect state. The fee they asked me was more than affordable too and their timing was great as well (they were 10 minutes late due to the traffic, but that’s really not their fault and they did let me know about it so there was no trouble, really).

Handy Moves - After all of the fuss that I was expecting, it’s nice to finally look back on the move and realise that everything went very well indeed. We hired Handy Moves to help us with the move, thinking that their expertise would be exactly what we needed in order to get all of the things moved in one piece, with their furniture removals being of particular interest. I’m happy to report that they performed very well and more than matched up to the expectations which we had of them. With that in mind, they should be the first ones to call.

top quality work. - I have been searching for this kind of help for a long time, having moved a number of times in the past. The help which I got from Handy Moves was great, and really stood out to me when compared to the people who I have hired in the past. I think the thing which really set them apart for me was the packing and the unpacking which they provided, something which I have struggled with in the past and which made sure that the process of moving into the new home went very quickly and easily, top quality work.

I have nowhere to store my items - I am at university and when the summer holidays come round, I have nowhere to store my items. One of my girlfriends told me I should use a storage unit. I searched the internet for storage services and found Handymoves. I chose them because they had a number of positive reviews. But they really were just as good as the reviews had stated. They were fully understanding of my situation and offered me a storage unit at a reasonable price. I could use it for as little or as long as I liked. The storage units were very clean and dry. Awesome removal service - The three men didn't complain when we explained that the elevator is not supposed to be used for heavy loads, so they carried the heavy packages through the stairs. This took twice as long and really exhausted them. We appreciate their efforts and the efficient removal service they performed in no time!Handy Moves are really great removal company.

Excellent performance - Really professional removal assistance. I was a little suspicious to use that kind of services cause I was worried about my stuff.
