JUST AWFUL. - DO AWAY WITH THE LANDLORD! Horrible, rude, vile bar staff whose idea of responding to a customer complaint is to become completely defensive and accuse its patrons of wrongdoing and rudeness when in fact the pub and it's staff are substandard and subhuman. Avoid at all cost and ignore the seemingly false positive "reviews".

Mile End treasure trove - I went to The Victoria during the weekend and I’m already in love with that place. The pub is one of the most ‘natural’ East London places I’ve been to and it’s not because of Victoria Park neighbourhood but because of cool atmosphere. There are many young, innocent people (probably students) making the place and organizing interesting events (last Saturday it was an absolutely amazing free gig of Phantom band). To find out more about them, you can always visit myspace as they have their section there (myspace.com/thevictoriae3).
The Victoria’s decoration doesn’t look stunning- it’s just a next standart English pub with benches outside. Anyway, without it the pub has a chance to become one of the most famous trendy one in East London.
The prices of drinks seem to be too affordable (as far as I remember) as I lost my glasses there. If somebody finds them, please get in touch with me.
