Good for Children and Space fans - Presently Living in Leicester, we have gone 3 times in just over a year to show relatives. The highlight is the ship simulator. It lives up to expectations. One good thing for us was that you can get your ticket validated for a year so you see it all for free again. 19-06-11

Good but way overpriced - I wouldn't rate this as poor as there is some interesting stuff to see and learn about and my kids loved it. I would say it's suitable from ages 4 upwards - there are areas for colouring and playing. However, the price of over £12 per adult does make this a rather expensive day out for what you get.
If you want a cheap visit, go in to the cafe which is right underneath the rocket - the kids loved this - then go to the shop. Both of these can be reached without paying entry fee.
There is also a pump museum next door which could be combined, but we didn't go to it so I can't comment. 28-04-09
