Me love sushi has recently launched its first restaurant and bar, serving premium Japanese cuisine, in Swiss Cottage NW3. As the first me love sushi site to offer an eat-in experience, the owners have developed an informal dining concept. Diners order and pay for their food at a counter near the entrance, before taking a seat whilst their food is freshly prepared and brought to the table.

Lovely Lunch - Had lunch here today and felt I had to comment. Everything was fresh and tasty and I would highly recommend the King Prawn Tempura(Think that was the name), was very tasty! Think I may become a regular in here!

Stay away - Lousy food. Tasteless. The worst sushi I have ever had.

Great sushi - The staff was very helpful and nice.
The food was great (That sushi is the best I ve ever ate). The prices were not very pricey..
Overall Me Love Sushi is a great place to eat and..why not..have fun whilst?:). I recommend it to everyone!

Give sushi a try! - If you have never tried sushi before you should! And this is a great place to try it as the staff are helpful with their recommendations, they have a large choice with a variety of fillings and a range of cooked dishes too so you can try some without having to eat a whole meal of sushi if you don’t want to! If you are trying the sushi then my favourites are the salmon seaweed rolls and the salmon gunkan. Their dumplings are great too!

Very yummy food - I ate here after a long day shopping in London, by the time we got here we were both starving and left completey full!!
We shared a couple of plates of sushi to start and then I had the salmon noodles and my friend had the grilled beef and rice and then treated ourselves to a cocktail afterwards and great way to end the day!

Great food and good service - I like the way that you order here, you queue up and place your order and then find a table and your order is bought to you when it’s ready. It seems to work well during busy periods. The staff are always helpful and the sushi is very good and reasonably priced.

My recommendations are any of the nigiri's, the salmon uramki and any of the dumplings!

Good food & cocktails!! - I love the food here for when I feel like treating myself! I recommend the pumpkin karokke, chicken katsu curry and their cocktails are really good too!!

Good food for veggies - I would recommend this restaurant to vegetarian’s as the menu is well labelled and they have a selection of meat, fish and then purely veg sushi, so everyone has something to choose from.

Quick tasty food - I’m always hunting for places which do nice food but are healthy and you can get fed quickly if your in a rush and melovesushi fits the bill, try the New York futomaki it’s great.

Love it! - I really had to talk my boyfriend into trying this place one because he thought everything would be raw! And two because he likes his food and didn’t think that a couple of plates of sushi would fill him up. He was impressed with the sushi he tried though he did top it up with a bowl of beef noodles aswell!

Great salads and sushi - I love salads and was surprised how good a sushi restaurants salad was and it makes a good complement to a couple of plates of sushi, the prawn seaweed rolls are what I always go for.

Filling and healthy - This place is great for healthy meals which are still tasty and filling. I love to go with someone else cos you can share and have more dishes! I’ve tried a lot of different things but the ones I keep coming back too are the larger seaweed rolls and the ones which they say are battleship shaped with spicy tuna.

Love their food! - This place does great miso soup if it’s a cold day and you need warming up and really tasty salads if it’s summer, I always team them with teriyaki chicken which is fab.

Good filling sushi - Me Love Sushi has a good atmosphere and people looking for fast, heathly food the Swiss Cottage is easy to get to as it’s close to the tube and the staff are happy to help if you’re a newbie to sushi. I love the cone shaped seaweed roll filled with duck.

Filling and reasonable - The menu Me Love Sushi offer has a wide range of choice, so most people will find something that they like. The prices are all pretty reasonable for London, and the food is filling so does work out good value.

Quick good food - Try the seaweed wraps if you want something on the go but can't face another sandwich or greasy burger, you won't be disappointed, my favourite is the duck one.

They also do a good teriyaki chicken and rice if you have time to sit and enjoy it!

Fab sushi - This place has sushi which is fresh and tasty. You can choose to eat in or take away but even if you haven't got much time, eating in doesn't take too long as the service is fast.

If your on the run the seaweed cones, stuffed with rice and choice of fillings are good and a lot healthier than a greasy burger!

But i like eating in and really enjoying the fab selection of sushi and one of the salads aswell. Your leave feeling happy that you had a filling and tasty but healthy meal.

Excellent food - I work in this area of London every couple of weeks and whenever i am, i go here for lunch.

If i'm in a rush and haven't got time to sit and eat i grab one of there seaweed wraps, filled with rice and whatever filling you chose, the duck one is my favourite.

If i've got more time then i will sit and have one of there delious bowls of noodles or rice, which fill me up for the rest of the day. Which ever one i have (i've tried most of them!) they have always got load of favour. I then take home a couple of plates of sushi for my dinner!

Me love sushi makes me look forward to working in this part of London!

Really good noodle bowls - I really like the noodle bowls at this place, i've tried most of them now and there all good, duck, chicken, beef, prawn it doesn't matter. They are always really good and fill you up & get washed down nicely with a Japanese beer.

My girlfriend normally has the sushi with a salad and she doesn't mind coming here, as it doesn't effect her diet and i can still have what i want!

Oh if your feeling really hungry guys grab some of there skewers or chicken wings!

Great Food - I've been on a health kick recently trying to get into shape for the summer, so my boyfriend wanted to eat out the last time we were in london, i really wanted to avoid certain tempations!

But he'd heard about this restuarant from someone at work, so wanted to give it a try. I was heppy when we looked at the menu everything looked healthy and fresh.

I ordered a salad, we shared a couple of plates of sushi, then we both had a bowl of noodles, i ordered the thinner noddles my boyfriend had the thicker one.
Everything we had tasted really good, we had both had sushi before and this was as good as we'd had anywhere else.
The noodles were really good & i like the idea that you can decide what ones you want, which you can't do in other noodle bars.
Only one complaint, the staff wouldn't share the salad dressing receipe with me!!

Really, really good noodles - I love asain food but sometimes its good to have something different to your normal chinese takeaway.

All the stuff here is really great, the noodle bowls are really filling and my fav. But if your feeling extra hungry, which i'm normally when i come here. Then the skewers go well with it, or if it's cold out, i'll have the miso soup.

If your in to sushi then the large rolls are good, i think you get 5 in a serving & there's one which has breaded chicken in it, which is really good.
But then everything here is!

Healthy & Quick - Me and my girlfriends, tryed this place out on our last girls shopping day and all really enjoyed it. The sushi is really good and if there's a group of you, you can order a couple of different plates to share and try (though i wasn't brave enough to try the raw tuna!)

We then all had noodles or teriyaki, which were filling but healthy so we all felt good about ourselves!

Only one downer the wine selection isn't particulary great. But we will be going back again.

Tasty treats for sushi lovers - Sushi and rice and noodles oh my! I always have a tough time picking what I want at this place. Everything is so good, and their prices are pretty good too. The bigger dishes like the noodle bowls and rice are obviously more for your money, but the sushi is really tasty and always tempts me as soon as I step through the door and see it all sitting there. mmm.

If you love Japanese food, fast food, and good value food then you should check out this place.

Great value noodles - I like to go to this place when I need some fast, hot comfort food but only have a few quid in my pocket. The noodle bowls are lovely and are really filling. Great value!

Something for health nuts - Agreeing on where to have lunch with my fussy teenage daughter can be stressful to say the least. I finally gave in and took her for her veggie sushi and I am glad I did. She seemed to have plenty of options of vegetables, tofu and rice while I had a big steaming bowl of crab and prawns with rice, which was to die for. She loved the fun process of ordering at the counter, and I have to say it made a refreshing change from sitting in dingy pub restaurants. It was also nice to be able to have a healthy, wholesome lunch that wasn't the boring 'salad' or 'chicken burger' or 'baked potatoe' fare offered for those of us on a diet! Highly recommend this place if you are looking for some tasty, fresh and filling food.

Friendly, fishy fun! - If you are visiting London and are looking for a tasty and healthy meal then I would highly recommend stopping in to Me Love Sushi. The place is really friendly, with a bright interior and funky decor and it is usually filled with quite a varied mix of people.


I am a big lover of fish, so it's no surprise that I love Sushi, although I tend to avoid the raw stuff and choose things like king prawns, fried salmon and crab. If you are a tourist to London you might have been brave enough to try Jellied Eels (a local delicacy) so you should try the Japanese barbequed version here.


The prices are all pretty reasonable for London, and the menu is really big so you can pretty much eat to whatever your budget is, and still get your fill. I found a lot of Japanese restaurants in London to have really inflated prices, and I guess that goes with the territory, but I would rather spend money on nice, fresh food than gimicky service or pretentious interior design.


Me Love Sushi is really easy to find, as it is right beside the Swiss Cottage tube station. (Exit 2 I think) It is also a convenient place to eat as it is close to Hampstead Heath so it's a great location to people watch or meet up with friends coming from outside the city.
