Nude Espresso
London
Reviews
best coffee in London - I never fully realised what an artform coffeemaking can be - that was until I walked into Nude on a cold Jan sat morning.
The barista created more than just a coffee - it was the best dammed coffee I have ever had - anywhere in the world - ever.
Smooth, rich, creamy, the flavours literally were extraordinary! Even the top was decorated with a pattern etched into the milk froth.
Now I don't normally get excited by many things but heck yes - that was so good I had to write it up here.
Really honest - try it - and make sure its Ra who's making the coffee....

Attitude Free Fabulous Coffee - Staff at NUDE Espresso are unusually friendly and they can make unusually good coffee and the place is unusually nice and clean...why so unusual? well many london cafes are serviced by unhappy sour pusses who make weak coffee with boiling milk and cleanliness is often ignored. SO HOORAY for NUDE !

My New Favorite Hangout - Having recently moved to the area, I was scouring the streets for a new cafe to call my own.
And then I came across Nude Espresso on Hanbury Street. It has some of the best coffee I have tasted in London. Its unobtrusive background music and free Wifi are also a bonus.
I have heard they are thinking of extending opening hours for 'Nude Nights' where the cafe turns into a cosy wine bar.
This cafe is exactly what I have been looking for!

A respite from the madness - Wow - I'd forgotten how busy the whole Spittalfields/Brick Lane/Truman Brewery area has become these days. On any given Sunday afternoon it seems to be the place where Generation X and Y (and a gazilian tourists) rub shoulders with each other, eating stirfry out of foil takeaway containers and warming themselves up on organic coffee before all decending on Vibe Bar - or so it seemed.
So, if all this starts to overwhelm you like it did me, then Nude is a welcome haven from all this madness. We ordered tea and brownies to go but the music was good and the atmosphere calm, so we decided to stay put for a while and enjoy the moment. A group of asian tourists came in but turned on their heels when advised there was no more cake. Hey, I love the cake too, but this place has so much more to offer than just cake.

Best Coffee Shop in London? - I can’t say for sure, but Nude might be the best coffee shop in London. They make Flat Whites which are really, really good (I’ve gone on about ‘em before in my Taylor Street Barristas review). They use Monmouth coffee which is really good. They have cool furniture hand made by Unto This Last (which I’ve also gone on about), including the 2 outdoor benches mentioned by Charles. They are really nice folks.
But what really sets this place apart is the space. It’s a pretty big shop (by London standards), cool space, perfect location (next to my office). Finally somewhere you can sit and read, work on your laptop, think, don’t think, whatever. Well done guys!

Nude Is The New (long) Black - This place is awesome, really awesome. Its run by an / some Australians so the coffees are all called flat white or long black which is cool, in fact its pretty standard nowadays. The staff were super friendly.
After a little chat we found out that the owners were super knowledgeable about coffee and had opted to use Monmouth Coffee which suits me perfectly - in fact I prefer it to Union (which Taylor St uses). The coffee was awesome, best coffee I've had in a long while.
Oh and the best thing for me is that they have 2 really nice benches outside for smokers to sit on - thanks guys, it means a lot to me that you care, you will be rewarded with my custom.
