Great place for a morning coffee - I've been a regular at Cafe Brera for the last year (I work locally). Although the Cafe was always of a good standard, recently i've noticed an improvement in the staff friendliness/speed, quality of service and coffee.
As someone who works 2 minutes from Cafe Brera, it's really nice to know I can nip out to get a round of coffees for my employees that's going to kick start their week after a hectic weekend!
I've only had to take a drink back once this year, and that was simply because of forgotten chocolate on my cappuccino. Other than that one glitch, i've had nothing but great service and great drinks. Recently i've been nipping out to get some sandwiches for lunch as well, and these were simply delicious.
I highly recommend you visit Cafe Brera if you are in Hammersmith in need of a coffee!

Nice coffee in dirty cups - An average human being needs a nice cup of coffee in the morning. Even me.
Crowd psychology used to have a huge influence on my coffee choices but right now I'm totally independent! I'm not a Starbucks victim anymore.
A few days ago I had a nice espresso in Cafe Brera in Lyric Theatre. The place offers all the Italian coffee variants beginning with latte ending with ristretto macchiato or marocchino so you can really choose whatever you want to. Cafe serves Italian food as well but I'm not sure if I'd go for something as everything seems to be dirty there. The place has a great location as it's a part of Lyric Theatre. You can either enjoy your coffee next to fountains at Lyric Square or at Roof Garden (most of people don't know that it exists). Prices are ok and if you bring your private clean cup from your home, you can really have a nice coffee time there.
