The Angarrack Inn specialized in old English rustic cuisine. Food is prepared fresh every day using only quality local ingredients with fresh fish from the Newlyn market. The Angarrack Inn also has a selection of over 30 malt whiskies and a fine choice of wines and excellent ales.

Not from round these 'ere parts... - Yes, I know this is a slightly out-of-the-way/random review – but useful should you ever find yourself in deepest Cornwall!
Stuffed full to the brim with knick knacks – you either love or hate this type of pub. The dining room is piled high to the ceiling with all sorts of bit – from ancient toy prams, old tea pots, dolls and cups. Highly patterned carpets and wallpaper adds to the experience. The ladies bathrooms are done up like an old dressing up box: lots of vintage glittery sequined dresses hanging on every wall. hmmmm... Ok aside from the visual onslaught, the food is good old English pub food well executed. Fish and chips had light crispy batter and proper fat chips doused in vinegar. A steak and kidney pie came as a slice with a suet pastry crust - a change from the usual puff pastry pots. Desserts included delights such as sticky toffee pudding and treacle tart to give your heart an extra workout. Dieters best keep away. Also highly recommended was the seasonal Pear cider... very very tasty and further enhanced the visuals as the night progressed. The landlord is of the "humorous interactive" type, hopping from table to table engaging in witty banter (I blame the Pear cider personally...), and ensuring both visitors and regulars are treated like long lost family.
