A great little indian restaurant and takeaway, the Emperor of India has an extensive menu of traditional indian dishes, chef's and house specialities. There is a small selection of English dishes. The restaurant is air-conditioned and fully licensed. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Cool night out for a hot dish - This traditional indian restaurant is now my favorite local eating out place, and their takeaway is excellent too. The staff are great fun and remembered my name within just a couple of takeaway visits. The food is excellent - cooked fresh and how I like it. There is a huge menu choice - I like firey and rich meals, whereas my partner likes it mild. We are never disappointed and never end up always eating the same old thing. They are prepared to put on extra special dishes if asked for. The bar is quite well stocked and the Irish coffee is a good one! Highly recommended. 17-06-08
