A shadow of it's former self!! - Hi,
We went for our usual monthly meal at Toto's tonight only to be faced with a new and very disappointing menu, one which has had our favourite items removed and large price increases!
They have done away with the rustic italian home foods in favour of a new al alacarte menu that includes things like duck with noodles (more a chinese dish) the steaks have been removed apart for a Rib eye for £16.95 and a Sirloin for £22.95! My wifes first meal was Canalonni but came without meat! Her next try was italian meatballs but these were like marbles and were dry! We asked how long the new menu had been in use and why and were told it was a new chef this month and he had revamped the menu! So Toto'seither replace the old menu or lose customers! This is the first time we've been on a Friday and seen many empty tables and the waiter said it was getting worse! My advice is avoid until they return the old menu we won't be back and this is a shame as we've been every month since 1997!!
