The Newt is a friendly and lively pub that serves beers, wines and spirits as well as a selection of pub meals. They also have a TV showing major sporting events as well as a DJ playing a range of tunes on Friday and Saturday nights. Catering for private parties and functions is available upon request. A cashback facility is also provided.

cheap pub food..surprised? No! - Well as any Aston Uni student the Newt is one of those places that you stumble on mid afternoon. Its ok, for student food - and cheap. My recco would be go there when heading to pub crawl, or when theres a heavy night ahead - drinks are very cheap - and its better than any of the pubs on campus
and not full of old people!
