Over rated Thai - Sorry, but I've got to pan this place. Had heard a lot of hype, but this is not great Thai food. Way too greasy, way too boring, service was average at best, and the atmosphere was icy for a Sunday night.

A decent meal for a pub, but definitely don't go for the food. 18-03-08

Sports and prawn crackers - On sport days, the Walmer Castle is always bursting at the seams. And on any sunny day or pretty much any Friday. OK, it is usually pretty busy... The Walmer has good outdoor seating and people usually just cop a squat on the pavement if there is no place on the benches. Inside they have several TVs that play the sports.

Thai food is served upstairs in the dining room and also at the bar. Pretty decent pub grub.

Sometimes the clientele gets a little bit pretentious, but it is mostly bearable. 04-10-07
